160 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Defence if his attention has been drawn to the fact that members of the FCA tested by the Army Medical Corps in 1999 have received better results than in 1998; and if this indicates that hearing can improve over time. [6121/99]
The results of audiograms carried out on FCA personnel in 1998 and 1999 are not centrally collated, therefore, I cannot comment on the matter at this stage.
I am having the matter examined by the military authorities and I will write to the Deputy when the results of these inquiries are available.
