Vol. 501 No. 3

Written Answers. - Care Orders.

John Gormley

Question:

218 Mr. Gormley asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason an application has been made for a long-term care order for the daughter of a person (details supplied) in County Donegal in spite of the acknowledgment by a senior social worker in the North Western Health Board that he is well capable of caring for his daughter; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5767/99]

The case referred to by the Deputy is sub judice and it is not appropriate for me to make a statement on the matter.
