365 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will publish the draft regulation for the implementation of the proposed tax relief for student accommodation in order that it can be considered in conjunction with the debate on the Finance Bill, 1999. [6034/99]

My Department is currently in the process of drawing up guidelines for the implementation of the tax relief for student accommodation in consultation with the Departments of Finance, the Environment and Local Government. These will be available from my Department as soon as possible.
