I propose to take Questions Nos. 111, 112, 113 and 114 together.
I am informed by the Garda authorities that crime statistics are compiled on the basis of Garda administrative areas, which do not correspond exactly with the areas referred to by the Deputy.
The Rathmines area is located in the southern Garda division of the Dublin metropolitan area. The areas of Ringsend, Donnybrook, and Pembroke are located in the south central division. Crime statistics in respect of 1996 and 1997 for the Garda divisions referred to can be obtained from the annual report of the Garda Síochána, which is available in the library of the Oireachtas.
While the statistics for 1998 have not yet been published, provisional statistics for 1998 are set out below. These figures may be liable to change.
