Written Answers. - Bovine Disease Controls.

Michael Moynihan

Question:

240 Mr. M. Moynihan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the current rates of income support for farmers whose herds are restricted under the disease eradication programme. [8109/99]

The TB and brucellosis eradication scheme compensation arrangements provide for four different types of payment, namely reactor grant, depopulation grant, income supplement and hardship grant, depending on the circumstances involved. Full details of the eligibility criteria and current rates for all four types of payment are being sent direct to the Deputy.
