596 Mr. P. Carey asked the Minister for Education and Science if St. Brigid's national school, Glasnevin, Dublin 11, will be assigned a resource teacher for the school year 1999-2000; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7751/99]

My Department's inspectorate is currently investigating the need for a resource teacher post in St. Brigid's national school, Glasnevin.

A decision will be made on this matter in the near future.
