58 Mr. Spring asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if she has received the report of the Technology Foresight Task Force; the plans, if any, she has to publish it; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [8336/99]
The report of the Technology Foresight Task Force was presented to me on 9 March 1999, at a joint meeting of the Irish Council for Science Technology and Innovation and the Inter-Departmental Committee on Science and Technology which I chair. It is hoped that the report will be formally launched and published by ICSTI before the end of next month.
The Tánaiste and I are currently having the recommendations in the report examined in detail before we bring same to Government for their consideration.
