Business of Dáil.

There are two procedural matters I wish to put to the House. It is proposed, notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders and the order of the Dáil of this day, that the following arrangements shall apply in relation to No. 33a: (1) statements shall be confined to the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform whose statement shall not exceed ten minutes and the main spokespersons for the Fine Gael and Labour Party whose statements shall not exceed five minutes; (2) following statements, the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform shall take questions for a period not exceeding 25 minutes and (3) the proceedings, if not previously concluded, shall be brought to a conclusion after 45 minutes and the order shall not resume thereafter.
