Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will examine a report entitled The Cost of Keeping on Their Feet, a study of women's health issues in the Cherry Orchard and Ballyfermot area; the steps, if any, he will take to tackle the problems outlined and implement the recommendations; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The report, The Cost of Keeping on their Feet, has recently been received in my Department. As the Deputy will be aware, the provision of health services in the Cherry Orchard and Ballyfermot area is a matter for the Eastern Health Board in the first instance. I have forwarded a copy of the report to the Eastern Health Board for its consideration and I will communicate with the Deputy when I receive a response.
