168 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands the agencies under the auspices of her Department which have declared themselves to be year 2000 compliant; the agencies, if any, yet to make such a declaration; when she expects such a declaration, if any, to be made; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The following bodies under the auspices of my Department have already declared themselves to be Year 2000 compliant: the National Gallery, the National Archives, Bord Leabhar na Gaeilge, the National Library, the Irish Film Board and the Irish Museum of Modern Art.
The bodies which expect to be compliant by the end of July 1999 are the National Concert Hall, the Heritage Council and the Arts Council.
The remaining bodies, namely, Údarás na Gaeltachta, the National Museum, Bord na Gaeilge, the Chester Beatty Library, Radio Telefís Éireann, the Independent Radio and Television Commission, An Cumann Náisiúnta Amharclinne and the Irish Manuscripts Commission all expect to be compliant by 30 September 1999.
