187 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation the agencies under the auspices on his Department which have declared themselves to be year 2000 compliant; the agencies, if any, yet to make such a declaration; when he expects such a declaration, if any, to be made; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation (Dr. McDaid):

My Department has established a year 2000 monitoring committee which includes representatives of the agencies under the auspices of my Department, viz. Bord Fáilte, CERT and Area Development Management Limited. The committee has informed me that it expects all the agencies will be year 2000 compliant by end July 1999 in accordance with criteria set by Government.
