209 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he has awarded grants in respect of group water sewerage schemes to the local authorities; if funds are being specifically dedicated to particular schemes; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11049/99]

The 1999 block grants for the devolved group water scheme programme were notified to local authorities on 31 March 1998 and details are available in the Oireachtas Library. Prioritisation of individual schemes for grant approval is a matter for authorities themselves.
