274 Ms Clune asked the Minister for Education and Science the grants, if any, available for a person (details supplied) in County Cork who has been offered a place in the Royal Ballet School in London; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10796/99]

My Department does not operate any schemes which would allow it to provide grant assistance to the person referred to by the Deputy. I understand that the Arts Council may provide assistance to persons in similar situations but that certain age limitations may apply.
