I refer the Deputy to my reply to Question No. 479 of 22 Márta 1999. I would expect to make announcements in relation to bóithre áise in the various gaeltachts over the next three weeks.

Ahearn asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands if she has satisfied herself with the entrance road to the Swiss Cottage, Cahir, County Tipperary; if she will provide funding to enhance and improve this entrance; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I understand that the entrance road to the Swiss Cottage is owned and maintained by Tipperary SR County Council. It is a matter for the council, therefore, to provide funding for any necessary maintenance work.
