Vol. 504 No. 7

Written Answers. - Health Services.

John Perry

Question:

217 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Health and Children if a person (details supplied) will be transferred to the National Rehabilitation Centre, Dún Laoghaire, in view of the fact that he needs treatment following his car accident; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12731/99]

The provision of medical treatment in this case is the statutory responsibility of the North-Western Health Board in the first instance. I have asked the chief executive officer of the North-Western Health Board to investigate this matter and to reply directly to the Deputy concerned as a matter of urgency.
