Vol. 504 No. 7

Order of Business (Resumed).

The heads of a Bill dealing with the National Treasury Management Agency were to be submitted to the Government. Has the claims agency Bill from the Department of Finance been cleared by the Government? Our information is that the heads of the Bill were to be submitted to the Government for clearance. Is the Taoiseach in a position to indicate whether the heads of the Bill have been submitted to the Government and if they have been cleared? At what stage is the Bill? Is it with the parliamentary draftsman?

It is still before the Government. The heads have not been cleared but I hope that will happen shortly.

Has it been put on the agenda for Government or is it yet to come before the Government?

It is not appropriate to debate the matter.
