197 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Finance the position regarding the provision of a new Garda station at Leixlip, County Kildare; the extent, if any, to which his Department has entered into negotiations with other agencies in relation to this issue; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As the Deputy is aware my Department is negotiating with Kildare County Council regarding the provision of a site for a new Garda station at Leixlip, County Kildare.

My Department has not entered into negotiations with any other agencies in relation to this issue.
