87 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the position in relation to a Land Registry application for a person (details supplied) in County Donegal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15645/99]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that there are no dealings pending on this folio and that the person named by the Deputy was registered as joint owner of the property concerned on 2 March 1992.
However, I understand that the Land Registry has now discovered a letter which was received from the registered owners in 1992, relating to a mapping query they raised about their property. There is no record of a reply issuing to this letter, and accordingly the Land Registry has yesterday written to the owners with a view to resolving the issue without further delay.
