Vol. 506 No. 5

Written Answers. - General Medical Services Scheme.

Bernard Allen

Question:

161 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a person (details supplied) in County Cork has been informed that he can no longer get immodium free on his medical card. [15913/99]

Immodium capsules 21mg/60 and syrup 0.2mg/ml/100ml, is available on the general medical services scheme. I have asked the chief executive officer of the Southern Health Board to reply to the Deputy directly in regard to the information given to the patient.
