The detailed allocation of Garda personnel to individual areas is a matter for the Garda authorities. They have informed me that, when members of sergeant rank next become available, the filling of the sergeant vacancy at Doneraile will be fully considered in conjunction with the filling of similar vacancies throughout the country.
