927 Mr. P. Carey asked the Minister for Education and Science the delay in getting the schools integration project under way at St. Michael's Holy Faith secondary school, Finglas, Confey community college, St. Benildus secondary school and Mayfield community school; and if he will make a statement on the matter. A memorandum of understanding and legal agreement relating to the schools integration project in the named schools have been prepared and are currently being examined by the legal services section of my Department. The named schools and the project partners, Intel Ireland Ltd., and Compaq Education Ltd. are being kept fully informed of progress through the National Centre for Technology in Education (NCTE). I expect this project to commence in the near future.
