235 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will increase the qualifying limit for receipt of nursing home subvention to a more realistic figure in view of the house valuation ceiling of £75,000 and the sharp increase in house prices. [19032/99]

I am aware of concerns about the provision in the Nursing Homes (Subvention) Regulations, 1993, referred to by the Deputy and I am having the matter examined.
