Vol. 508 No. 4

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Austin Deasy

Question:

163 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason for the delay in carrying out a surgical procedure for a person (details supplied) in County Waterford who suffers from a latex allergy; and if he will ensure that there are no further delays in this regard. [19279/99]

The provision of medical treatment in this instance is the responsibility of the Children's Hospital, Temple Street. I have asked the secretary/manager of the hospital to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.
