171 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of people in County Donegal on waiting lists for orthodontic treatment; and the plans, if any, he has for providing treatment as soon as possible. [19322/99]
The provision of orthodontic treatment to eligible persons in County Donegal and the maintenance of waiting lists are the statutory responsibility of the North-Western Health Board.
I have had inquiries made of the North-Western Health Board. I understand there are 1,326 children in County Donegal on the waiting list for orthodontic treatment.
