Vol. 509 No. 1

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

John Perry

Question:

198 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Health and Children if a person (details supplied) in County Donegal will be called for treatment in view of the fact that his condition has rapidly deteriorated and needs 24 hours a day assistance; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19550/99]

The provision of medical treatment for eligible persons in County Donegal is the statutory responsibility of the North-Western Health Board in the first instance. I have asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate this case and to reply to the Deputy directly as a matter of urgency.
