213 Mr. Browne (Wexford) asked the Minister for Health and Children the progress, if any, to date on the commencement of the proposed new hospital at St. John's, Enniscorthy, County Wexford; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19625/99]

Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Cowen): The current position regarding the proposed new hospital at St. John's, Enniscorthy, is that the South-Eastern Health Board is in the process of appointing a design team for the hospital. Arrangements for the shortlisting of applicants and subsequent interviews will be made at the end of October.
