Written Answers. - School Staffing.
In August 1997 my Department granted sanction to the school in question to establish a special class for pupils with a mild general learning disability. The school recently applied to my Department to establish a second special class to cater for additional pupils who have enrolled at the school.
My Department's inspectorate has been asked to examine the case put forward by the school. On receipt of the inspector's report, my Department will be in contact with the school authorities regarding their request.
