Vol. 509 No. 3

Written Answers. - School Transport.

Ivor Callely

Question:

151 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Education and Science the early indications and feedback from the new arrangements in place in Dublin for pupils under the school transport scheme; if his attention has been drawn to the large number of complaints in relation to the service in the Dublin 3, 5 and 9 areas; and the procedures in place for concerned parents or pupils to make any complaints or suggestions regarding the school transport. [20244/99]

The organisation of the public scheduled services in the Dublin area is operated by Bus Átha Cliath and is not under my Department's remit. I have referred the matter to them and requested that they reply directly to the Deputy.
