Vol. 509 No. 4

Written Answers. - Rape Crisis Centres.

Brian O'Shea

Question:

213 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Health and Children the proposals, if any, he has to increase funding for the Waterford Rape Crisis Centre; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20305/99]

The position is that funding of all rape crisis centres is a matter for the health boards and in this particular instance, the South-Eastern Health Board. Accordingly, Waterford Rape Crisis Centre should contact the South-Eastern Health Board concerning their funding requirements.
