277 Ms O'Sullivan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when the proposed sewerage scheme for Castleconnell, County Limerick, will commence; the funding allocated; the timescale of the project; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20756/99]
This scheme has been included in my Department's 1999 water and sewerage services investment programme as a scheme to be advanced through planning on the basis of a preliminary estimated costing of £3.2 million. I approved the preliminary report for the scheme last April and contract documents are currently awaited from Limerick County Council. I am not in a position to say when construction work will commence.
