306 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands when announcements of the allocation of Gaeltacht road money will be made; and if an application by persons (details supplied) in County Mayo will be approved for funding. [20271/99]
The moneys available to me this year under scéim na mbóithre aise have already been allocated.
However, the application received by my Department under this scheme for the repair of the road referred to by the Deputy, will be taken into account when further applications under the scheme are again being considered.

My Department is unable to identify the road in question from the details supplied. Perhaps the Deputy would provide me with further information regarding the road, such as name and address of applicant(s), preferably in Irish as most applications received by my Department are with an Irish name and address, to enable my Department to identify the road and inform the Deputy of the current position.
