Written Answers. - Nuclear Safety.

Brendan Howlin

Question:

71 Mr. Howlin asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the plans, if any, he has to reduce the number of vessels passing through the Irish Sea carrying nuclear waste in view of the potential dangers of these vessels; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20704/99]

The position is as outlined in my reply to questions on 29 September 1999 and 7 October 1999 in this matter.
