Question:310 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a person (details supplied) in County Mayo is not receiving speech therapy; and the way in which this can be resolved. [21461/99]

The provision of speech and language therapy services in any individual case is a matter for the relevant health board. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been referred to the chief executive officer, Western Health Board, with a request that she examine the query and reply directly to the Deputy, as a matter of urgency.
