Question:417 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when he will implement the town renewal scheme. [21329/99]
Written Answers. - Urban Renewal Schemes.
Town renewal plans for the selected towns must be prepared by the local authority and submitted to my Department by 31 December 1999.
The plans submitted will be examined by an expert advisory panel and it is expected that the scheme will be implemented by April 2000.
