Vol. 509 No. 6

Written Answers. - Schools Building Projects.

Rory O'Hanlon

Question:

613 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for Education and Science the situation regarding the extension to the Patrician school, Carrickmacross, County Monaghan; when work will commence; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21442/99]

An application for an extension to the Patrician High School, Monaghan, has been received and is currently proceeding satisfactorily through architectural planning. A Stage 3 submission i.e. developed sketch scheme has recently been received by my Department.

The question of proceeding to construction will be considered in light of available resources and competing priorities when architectural planning has been completed.
