Question:29 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Health and Children the position with regard to the national strategy on youth homelessness; when the strategy will be announced; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22929/99]
Written Answers. - Youth Homelessness.
A national strategy on youth homelessness is currently being prepared. It aims to set out a framework for a more strategic and planned approach to youth homelessness. My intention is that the strategy will involve the public and private sectors in a joint funding initiative to address youth homelessness. Work on the strategy is proceeding as quickly as possible with a view to it being finalised by the end of this year.
