181 Mr. U. Burke asked the Minister for Education and Science the reason for the delay in providing new school facilities for the Scoil Lán-Ghaeilge, Ballinasloe, County Galway, which is working under difficult conditions; when progress will be made; the timescale for each stage of development; the final proposed date for occupation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department is currently negotiating the acquisition of a site for the provision of a Gaeilscoil at Ballinasloe, County Galway.

It is too early at this stage to provide a time scale for the project but I can assure the Deputy that every effort will be made to progress the matter.
