Vol. 511 No. 2

Written Answers. - General Medical Services Scheme.

Bernard J. Durkan

Question:

119 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health and Children if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 203 of 12 October 1999, information is available in relation to the names of each doctor, the address of each practice and the amount paid in fees and allowances by the General Medical Services Payments Board in 1998; the comparative information in respect of 1997; the percentage increase between 1997 and 1998 for each doctor; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23989/99]

The statistical information has been provided by the General Medical Services Payments Board. It should be noted that the figure given is an aggregate one in respect of fees and allowances and should therefore not be interpreted as representing the GMS scheme income of the practitioner concerned.
