49 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands if she has granted a licence under the National Monuments Act, 1930 to 1994, to the Asgard Restoration Project to alter the original Asgard to refit it for sailing; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I refer the Deputy to my answers to Question No. 196 of 11 November last and Priority Questions Nos. 1 and 2 of 7 October 1999.

I am still considering an application for a licence under the National Monuments Acts received from the Asgard restoration project to alter the Asgard vessel.
