220 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive 1999 cattle headage in view of the fact that he has returned amended maps to the area aid section. [25294/99]

An overclaim has been identified on one of the land parcels claimed by the person named in 1999. Maps have issued to him and he has been informed of the extent of this overclaim. The application can not be further processed until a reply is received.

221 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive 1999 sheep headage. [25295/99]

(Mr. Walsh): The person named amended his original 1999 area aid application to include three new plots. These new plots are currently being entered on the Department's electronic database. When this process has been completed any payments due will issue.

The person named did not initially supply the information necessary to process his 1999 area aid application. Therefore the area aid unit issued maps to the herdowner to enable him to outline the boundaries of the land claimed by him. These maps have now been returned and are currently being entered on to the Department's electronic database with a view to ensuring that any payments due are made as soon as possible.

The person named included commonage in her 1999 area aid application, but did not provide proof of her entitlement to claim this commonage. She has been informed of this and her application cannot be processed further until this proof is provided.

224 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive headage payments. [25298/99]

The person named applied for premium on 20 cows under the 1999 suckler cow premium scheme. In addition he applied on 20 beef cows and 15 others under the 1999 cattle headage scheme . He also applied for 15 ewes under the 1999 ewe premium scheme.

As the person named was applying for grants for the first time it was necessary for him to submit legal documentation to establish the fact that he was a producer under the terms and conditions of the schemes in question . These documents have now been submitted and all outstanding claims will be processed to their conclusion as soon as possible.
