353 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands the status of contingency plans in relation to the Y2K computer problems in the event of a systems failure in her Department and all agencies under her aegis; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [25446/99]

Contingency plans in relation to the Y2K computer problems have been prepared by my Department. Of the 18 bodies operating under the aegis of my Department, 13 have already prepared contingency plans and the remaining five are in the process of doing so.
