Vol. 511 No. 6

Written Answers. - Special Educational Needs.

Richard Bruton

Question:

379 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will provide additional teaching resources to a special school (details supplied) in County Dublin seeking to provide education to children with a physical disability, some of whom have been misplaced in a home for children with a mental handicap for years, resulting in seriously disturbed behaviour. [24875/99]

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that my Department has recently sanctioned an increased teacher allocation to the centre in question in recognition of the very special needs of children attending this facility.
