Written Answers. - Physical Education Facilities.
My Department's building unit has received an application from County Wicklow VEC for a physical education hall for Scoil Chonglais, Baltinglass.
The project is currently at Stage 3 of architectural planning, that is, developed sketch scheme.
County Wicklow VEC has recently been requested by my Department to revise documentation submitted to the building unit in September 1999.
The project will proceed to the next stages of architectural planning on satisfactory completion of the developed sketch scheme.

My Department's post primary building unit has received an application from County Wicklow VEC for an extension, including a physical education hall, for Arklow community college.
A schedule of residual accommodation, which incorporates a sports hall, has recently been agreed with the VEC.
Officials from the building unit will be in contact with County Wicklow VEC in the near future regarding the appointment of a design team to plan the provision of the additional accommodation.
