Michael Ring
Question:104 Mr. Ring asked the Taoiseach the number of people unemployed in each of the years from 1990 to date on a county by county basis; and the number of people registered as unemployed in each county. [24796/99]
Written Answers. - Unemployment Levels.
Annual statistics on the level of unemployment were based on the labour force survey up to April 1997; and from the end of 1997 quarterly statistics have been available from the quarterly national household survey. Results from the surveys, which are compiled at regional level, are set out in the following table.
