Written Answers - Health Board Allowances.

John McGuinness

Question:

207 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if he is in receipt of an application by a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny for domicilary care allowance; and, if so, if he will expedite the matter. [25847/99]

The assessment of entitlement to a domiciliary care allowance in any individual case is a matter for the relevant health board. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been referred to the chief executive officer, South Eastern Health Board with a request that he examine the query and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
