Vol. 512 No. 3

Written Answers - Services for People with Disabilities.

Nora Owen

Question:

239 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will arrange for the restoration of respite care for a person (details supplied) in view of the fact that this had been cancelled due to lake of care staff. [26210/99]

The provision of services, including respite care, to persons with disabilities in the Dublin area is the responsibility of the Eastern Health Board in the first instance. I have requested that the board investigate the matter and reply directly to the Deputy.
