Vol. 512 No. 3

Written Answers - General Medical Services Scheme.

Bernard J. Durkan

Question:

242 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health and Children if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 119 of 18 November 1999, the information is available in relation to the names of each doctor, the address of each practice, the number of patients and the amount paid in fees and allowances by the General Medical Services (Payments) Board in 1998; the comparative information in respect of 1997; the percentage increase between 1997 and 1998 for each doctor; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26234/99]

Most of the information sought by the Deputy was forwarded by me in a reply to his question of 18 November 1999 but was inadvertently omitted from the official report. The particular additional information sought on this occasion has been requested from the General Medical Services (Payments) Board and I would hope to forward it to the Deputy within the next week.
