Question:

159 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the number of suspected and confirmed cases of sheep scab, on a county by county basis, for the past 12 months. [25982/99]

In the last 12 months a total of 102 suspected cases of sheep scab in Ireland were notified to local authorities of which 61 were confirmed. The following table gives a breakdown of these figures on a county to county basis.
