Written Answers. - Stability Programme.
The stability programme 1999 to 2001 was forwarded to the European Commission in December 1998. Copies of the updated stability programme 2000 to 2002 were sent to the European Commission on 2 December 1999.
It is likely that the European Commission will make an assessment of the updated stability programme early in the new year and that the economic and financial committee and the ECOFIN council will then discuss it.
