Vol. 512 No. 7

Written Answers. - Hospital Funding.

Liz McManus

Question:

62 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason St. Colmcille's Hospital, Loughlinstown, was excluded from the announcement of his Department's funding plans arising from the national development plan in view of its submission for upgrading funding; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [27056/99]

My Department has received proposals from the Eastern Health Board for the re-development of St. Columcille's Hospital, Loughlinstown. These proposals will be considered in the context of decisions to be made on the allocation of funding for hospital developments within the national development plan.
